The Charlesin Upper East Side

Description The 31-story, 104,000 square foot residential building is comprised of 27 full floor residences, showcasing expansive floor plans with ceiling heights ranging from nine to 12.5 feet, with elegant, gracious and functional layouts designed by Ismael Leyva. These full floor residences were designed to offer families privacy, convenience and state-of-the-art luxury amidst the heart of the East Side of Manhattan and range up to four bedrooms, including one duplex penthouse. Ismael Leyva Architects’ design for this new development breaks from the traditional, prewar and postwar brick architecture that generally exists in this area of the East 70’s. A majority of the building’s exterior is designed with a floor to ceiling window wall system, affording transparency and allowing for a contemporary, modern presence. The seven story base is finished with rich honed limestone as well as a contemporary storefront on the first floor, featuring a glass storefront system with a granite base. The building’s interior finishes and amenities were designed by David Collins Studio. Construction is projected to be complete in late 2014 by designated builder, Victor Homes. -Resident Lounge -Private Resident Storage -Fitness Center -Children’s Playroom -24 Hour Doorman and Concierge
